⁍ Born in Athens, living in Paris since 1992. He received the First Prize in flute at the Athens Conservatory, while also studying piano. He also obtained a Master’s in counterpoint and fugue from the Atheneum Conservatory. He holds a Master’s degree from the Department of Musicology at the University of Thessaloniki and a DEA (Master 2) from the Sorbonne–Paris IV University.
⁍ Bassist of the group Moussikès Taxiarchies (Musical Brigades) since its foundation in 1980, he participated in the albums Moussikès Taxiarchies, An i yiayiá mou íche roulement (“If my grandmother had ball bearings”), and Hard Core (live recording). After the dissolution of the group in 1985 and until his move to Paris, he collaborated as an independent musician with Tzimis Panousis, the group’s leader.
⁍ In 1986, together with Loukas Sideras, drummer of the group Aphrodite’s Child, he founded the band Diesel.
⁍ He collaborated with Greek artists Sotiria Bellou, Dimitris Lagios, Vangelis Germanos, and the group Apurimac.
⁍ In 1999, he became a member of the Parisian group Mandragore, with whom he recorded three albums.
⁍ His work extends to theater and contemporary dance: in 2000, he worked with choreographer Machi Dimitriadi and the ensemble Assomates Dynameis, composing (with drummer Yorgos Dimitriadis) the music for the piece Burning People, presented in Paris and Athens.

⁍ During his career in Paris, he has balanced artistic creation with teaching music within the French National Education system.
⁍ The 2010s were dedicated to composition, centering on the musical setting of poems by William Shakespeare and his project Geografia, which he presented in various concerts in Paris, notably at the Maison des Cultures du Monde (2014).
⁍ In 2024, he composed the music for the play L’homme et son pantalon (The Man and His Trousers) by Iakovos Kambanellis, presented at the Théâtre de l’Épée de Bois in Paris, directed by Andromachi Motzoli.
